Matthew Ronnfeldt

Hey, I am Matthew and I am the bassist for the band. I occasionally play the cello with the group as well. I have officially been a part of the group since June of 2008. It has been a great experience being a part of the band and the band members are awesome! I feel fortunate and blessed to be playing with such a talented and dedicated bunch. They have made me feel so welcome and have shown me how I can use my talents to serve God’s mission. I rock out and have fun.

I was born and have lived all my life in Iowa City. My music interest began with playing cello at the age of 6 and then piano at 9. In 6th grade a group of my friends wanted to start a band and needed a bassist, so I volunteered for the spot. Fortunately that Christmas I was good and got an electric bass and I’ve been rock’n ever since. I am currently in 8th grade at South East in Iowa City.
